PBR Rock Bar Gets Into the Vegas Nightlife Game

PBR Rock Bar & Grill inside The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is mounting the mechanical bull of Vegas nightlife and riding it for all it’s worth. Which, this blog realizes, might be the worst metaphor in recorded history. Let’s not allow that to deter us from the matter at hand.

The popular PBR Rock Bar restaurant has already added a DJ booth (the paint was still fresh when we snagged the pic below), and plans are in place to divide the restaurant into two parts as the evening progresses (with a sound-proof wall, so diners won’t be disturbed), providing a mix of laid-back dining and the Vegas nightclub experience.

PBR Rock Bar nightclub

Tip: Tilting your camera makes things seem even cooler.

Additions are still being made to the decor, but the area pictured below will serve as a dance floor for night owls seeking to shake their badonkadonks off, whatever those might actually be.

PBR Rock Bar restaurant

This is where this blog will be exhibiting its mad badonkadonk skilz.

The area is expected to feature high-top furniture for party animals to keep their dogs from barking too much as the night wears on.

The club portion of PBR Rock Bar will even have its own entrance, directly across from the popular Earl of Sandwich restaurant.

PBR Rock Bar

It's a photo of a door! Hey, not everything can be front page news.

Bonus, the more adventurous can still make their way from the dance area to take on PBR Rock Bar’s hydraulic mechanical bull. This would seem an opportune time to share our video of bull-riding maven Karie, who we took no enjoyment in taping, believe us.

Visit the official PBR Rock Bar site, where you’ll find all the latest news as well as a healthy supply of scantily-clad rodeo clowns. We try not to ask.

“X Burlesque” Celebrates 10th Year on the Strip

The fetching cast of Flamingo’s X Burlesque show celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the saucy show in Las Vegas with a party at Pure inside Caesars Palace on April 24, 2012.

X Burlesque

This is how people in Las Vegas nightclubs look. Exactly like this. Every single one. All the time. We swear.

Thanks to Al Powers for the pic.

This anniversary marks the topless revue’s fifth year at Flamingo Las Vegas. It began its Vegas run at the Aladdin, now called Planet Hollywood.

When “X Burlesque” opened in 2002, it was called just “X.” Producers felt a clearer name was needed after several unfortunate incidents involving pirates looking for buried treasure. (We may have made that last part up.)

X Burlesque

Yes, we forced ourselves to see this show. For research purposes. The things we do for you.

Among the props used during the show’s fantasy sequences: Bathtubs, guitars, lollipops and feather boas. So, yeah, pretty much a typical night in Vegas.

X Burlesque

Just click on this photo to view the topless version. Really. That's totally possible. Just keep clicking. We'll wait.

Read more about the history of “X Burlesque” at the Las Vegas Sun, or if you’re like this Las Vegas blog, and not a fan of “reading,” just look at our exclusive photo gallery we’ve been dying to find an excuse to share again.

Drink & Drag Vegas is Dressed Up and Ready to Party

Although Drink & Drag Las Vegas, billed as the “first-ever fully drag queen-staffed bar,” won’t officially open until May 5, 2012, the downtown establishment quietly began to welcome guests this weekend, and we were there.

Unfortunately, because it was just a “soft launch,” we were told we weren’t allowed to take photos. So, naturally, we took tons of photos! This blog does not live by society’s rules.

Drink & Drag downtown Las Vegas

"Drink" gets top billing, as it should in Las Vegas.

The staff of Drink & Drag, 24 full-time drag queens in all, were out in force, learning the ropes of their new gig and entertaining guests by breaking into choreographed dance sequences throughout the evening.

Drink & Drag drag queen

You better work! Oh, wait, you are working. Sorry!

Far from just appealing to the GLBT community, this blog witnessed guests of all orientations and ages taking part in the fun at Drink & Drag.

Adding to the draw are a 12-lane bowling alley and billiard room.

Drink & Drag Las Vegas

At Drink & Drag, it's a challenge to keep your mind out of the gutter.

The interior of Drink & Drag is gorgeous, with impressive attention to lighting and creating a sensory experience that leaves you feeling like there’s always something else to see in this 22,000-square-foot venue.

There are surprises around every corner.

Drink & Drag restroom

Oh, like we weren't going to share a photo of the saucy men's room.

Drink & Drag is tucked away on the second floor of Neonopolis, in the space formerly occupied by Jillian’s. And we don’t used the word “tucked” lightly. (Hint: It’s a drag queen thing.)

Drink & Drag

Outside, understated. Inside, over-the-top.

The Drink & Drag concept is brought to downtown by the owner of the popular Krave nightclub at The Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.

Drink & Drag bartender

There's something for everyone at Drink & Drag.

Taking their cue from casinos like Rio Las Vegas, cocktail servers at Drink & Drag are equipped with iPads to transmit orders wirelessly to the bar, speeding up cocktail service and providing more time for the servers to interact with guests.

And an unforgettable interaction it is. To a person, the drag queens at Drink & Drag are friendly and hysterically funny, and know how to keep the party vibe going.

Drink & Drag

Shyness does not seem to afflict any of the Drink & Drag staff.

Insider tip: If you’re not quite up to speed on drag queen culture, we recommend you catch a few episodes of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” on the Logo network. That way, you’ll have a better facility with drag queen lingo when you hit Drink & Drag: “beating your face” (applying makeup), “reading” (playfully insulting someone), “chicken cutlets” (bra inserts) and “fishy” (a drag queen who looks like a woman, not like a man dressed like a woman). Get more.

Drink & Drag

Being a dancing queen not your thing? Hit the swanky billiard room.

One of the most amazing parts of the Drink & Drag experience is enjoying the costumes of the staff. The outfits are stunning, and the make-up and hair can take upwards of three hours to get just right, according to one of our cocktail servers. To borrow a line from Frank Marino’s Diva’s Las Vegas drag show at Imperial Palace, “you won’t believe your eyes.”

This blog had a complete blast at Drink & Drag, and we are almost entirely heterosexual. We predict Drink & Drag will quickly become a must-visit part of the ever-growing downtown Las Vegas nightlife scene.

Drink & Drag bar

This is where the "drink" part of Drink & Drag tends to happen.

Today’s Thing We Wish We Had Our Mouth On

We’re writing this blog post at 10:00 a.m., and in Las Vegas, that means it’s time to start thinking about our next cocktail!

Today, we vote for the Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum Toasted Colada at Cabo Wabo Cantina in The Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood. (Say that five times fast.)

Sammy's Beach Bar Rum Toasted Colada

Please note: The phrase "lick the rim" is not inherently inappropriate. That's all on you.

Hey, we even took notes about the ingredients this time.

The Toasted Colada contains two ounces of Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, one ounce of Coco Lopez and some pineapple juice. Even we can memorize that recipe. Just mix up all that flavorful goodness, dip the glass in honey and toasted coconut and you’re all set.

You could probably make one at home, but why would you do that when you could head to Cabo Wabo, put your feet up, people-watch, enjoy some tunes and soak in the gloriousness that is the Las Vegas Strip?

Oh, and that “put your feet up” thing was just a figure of speech. People are trying to eat.

Carlos’n Charlie’s Las Vegas Opens at Flamingo

The new Carlos’n Charlie’s restaurant has officially opened its doors at Flamingo Las Vegas, to much fanfare. Which is oddly appropriate, because this blog is already a “fan” of its “fare.” And just about everything else at this lively, liquor-fueled, tongue-in-cheek dining experience.

Why do we call it an experience? The best analogy we can think of is that Carlos’n Charlie’s is like being on a cruise ship, but without the need for Dramamine.

Carlos'n Charlie's restaurant Flamingo

This is the inside, but the weather's also perfect for the outside.

Like we’re not going to show you the outside.

Carlos'n Charlie's

Our new casa away from casa.

Carlos’n Charlie’s has more than a few surprises in store. Among them, the impressive girth of its beverages.

Behold the “Big Mama,” below ($28, or $26.50 for Total Rewards loyalty program members). This cup holds 28 ounces of liquid, but because of a removable inner chamber, could ultimately be used for drinks with 138 ounces. Fingers crossed.

Carlos'n Charlie's restaurant Flamingo

It's a little like Tom Cruise filming a scene with Shaquille O'Neal. Or something.

Signature drinks have names like Dumb Bet, Strawberry Squash, Caipirinha, Sunset in Las Vegas and the one in the goblet above, Crazy Bastard on the Strip. We are not making this up. We have to say, the strawberry margarita was up there with the best in Las Vegas. And we have a fairly large sample size to compare it to. Ahem.

Highly recommended appetizer: The chicken quesadilla. This one pretty much rules as the best we’ve had in Sin City, ever. Quesadilla, by the way, is Spanish for “mind, meet blown.”

Carlos'n Charlie's restaurant Flamingo

Congrats. You just met your new favorite appetizer. You're welcome.

Another surprise? Spoiler alert: If you order ketchup, you’re going to get an ample supply. In our case, we were just thinking about asking for ketchup to accompany our Parmesan & Swiss Chicken (below). Carlos’n Charlie’s, apparently, is staffed by ketchup psychics.

Carlos'n Charlie's restaurant Flamingo

Leave your pretentious, other you at the door.

It’s hard to explain, but every waiter and waitress converges on your table with ketchup. You’ll have to see it for yourself, hilarity-wise.

Oh, and there’s also a ketchup ambassador. (Probably not his official title.)

Carlos'n Charlie's Las Vegas

Don't panic. It wasn't weird. Just let Carlos'n Charlie's do its thing. Trust us.

Also, surprisingly not weird, were the spontaneous outbursts of dancing at Carlos’n Charlie’s. We usually hate that kind of thing. But the staff’s having such a blast, you almost can’t help but take part. Almost. We had other things demanding our attention. Which leads us to…

One of the happier surprises involves the restaurant’s desserts. Just brace yourself. Objects photographed are much, much larger than they appear.

Carlos'n Charlie's dessert

You won't have room, but you also won't be able to resist. These are the kinds of conundra for which this blog lives.

We took extensive notes about the desserts at Carlos’n Charlie’s. Unfortunately, looking at those notes today, they appear to have been written while inside a tumble dryer. Oh, well, let’s just say our favorite was the brownie thing, above.

See more goodness in our photo gallery. There was something with bananas. Something with chocolate. Something creamy. And pretty much everything had ice cream. And was scrumptious to the point of nearly forcing us to use the letters “OMG,” despite the fact this blog is not a 14-year-old girl.

Carlos'n Charlie's dessert

Granted, not every "dessert" has chocolate in it.

Enjoy our exclusive photo gallery of some of the offerings at Carlos’n Charlie’s at Flamingo Las Vegas, and get in line! It’s going to be a wild ride, and one you won’t want to miss.

Hangover Heaven Bus May Cure What Ales You

Not that you’ve ever experienced a hangover in Las Vegas, of course, but a new mobile service, Hangover Heaven, claims to deliver a convenient hangover treatment for those who may overindulge during their Sin City escapades.

Hangover Heaven provides curbside service that includes hydration and anti-nausea medicine, delivered through a small IV tube. The operation is run by Dr. Jason Burke, a board-certified anesthesiologist and graduate of Duke University. At least that’s what he says. We are a blog, not an investigative journalist.

Hangover Heaven

We suspect this service is popular with guys named Gus.

Customers have a choice of packages to address their alcohol-related woes: the Salvation package (introductory price $150, usually $200) or the Redemption package (normally $130, introductory price of $90). The service also provides in-room VIP treatments ($500 for the first person, $375 for each additional person).

Hangover Heaven seems to have a sense of humor about itself. In the FAQ section of its site, in response to “Can I remain anonymous?,” this answer is provided: “You do not have to give us your real name. Just pay with cash and you can state that your name is Elvis Presley.”

Hangover Heaven

What are these "hangovers" we've heard to much about? Ahem.

The treatments are said to take about 45 minutes. Find out more about this toxin-flushing fest on the official Hangover Heaven site. Thanks to Hangover Heaven for the pics.

Side note: If you can’t afford Hangover Heaven’s services, experts say bananas can help prevent and cure hangovers, too.

We were going to suggest “restraint,” but it’s Las Vegas, so who are we kidding?

First Look: Inside Carlos’n Charlie’s at Flamingo

Final preparations are under way for the opening of a new restaurant, Carlos’n Charlie’s at Flamingo Las Vegas. We breached security to bring you a sneak preview of this fun new dining experience on the Las Vegas Strip.

Carlos'n Charlie's restaurant Flamingo

Outside first, then inside. Work on that patience thing, will you?

The construction walls are down, and Carlos’n Charlie’s is expected to open April 18, 2012 if all goes according to plan.

Carlos'n Charlie's restaurant Flamingo

The patio and bar area. FYI: Still, technically, outside.

The unique new restaurant promises to serve up Mexican favorites (and their mutant, international offspring) as well as an irreverent, party atmosphere, the evidence of which one can already see inside the quirkily-decorated restaurant.

Carlos'n Charlie's restaurant Flamingo

Outside the restaurant, inside the casino. This isn't the quirky part.

Much of the furniture is still wrapped in protective material, and all the other myriad pieces of the kitchen, bars (inside and out), patio and dance floor are coming together much as they would during a military operation. If the commanders were Cheech and Chong. We kid.

The place is looking great, and we can’t wait to see the finished product.

Carlos'n Charlie's Las Vegas

Thanks for letting us see you without make-up, Carlos'n Charlie's.

Among our favorite decorative touches are the bar stools shaped like legs, providing an interesting optical illusion when viewed from the rear.

Carlos'n Charlie's Las Vegas

Is Carlos'n Charlie's a perfect fit for Las Vegas, or what?

On the day we visited, Executive Chef Froylan “Froy” Vazquez (in red, below) was grilling his team about the wide variety of offerings on the restaurant’s expansive menu. See what we did there?

Carlos'n Charlie's Las Vegas

Chef Froy runs a tight barco. Which, we're 56% sure, means "ship" in Spanish.

The photos of the Carlos’n Charlie’s food you see here represent the first few times these dishes have been prepared at the restaurant’s Las Vegas location. There are other Carlos’n Charlie’s locations in places like Mexico, Spain, Brazil and elsewhere in the U.S.

See all the locations here, and note the use of “thingy,” one of this blog’s favorite words.

Carlos'n Charlie's

On the Carlos'n Charlie's menu, there's a section called "Moo, Splash & Peep." 'Nuff said.

The restaurant’s General Manager (and resident troublemaker), Genaro Dispa, was somewhat reluctant to let us take photos of the dishes, saying, “These are the first ones we’re making. I promise you, by the time we open, they’re going to be much, much worse.” Remember what we said about the irreverence thing?

Carlos'n Charlie's

Traditional Mexican favorites this blog doesn't recognize!

We’re happy to report that even the “experimental” dishes were delicious, and this blog may have found its new favorite entree in Las Vegas: The Parmesan & Swiss Chicken. We don’t know if that’s the actual name, because we’re not a fan of “taking notes” or “remembering things,” but that’s sure what it tasted like.

Carlos'n Charlie's

Easily the best breast-related thing to be introduced to Las Vegas since the implant.

Not only was this dish fantastic on the outside (crispy breaded chicken breast topped with Alfredo sauce and Parmesan cheese au gratin), but inside there was surprise. Through some sort of voodoo, there’s more deliciousness in the form of Swiss cheese.

Carlos'n Charlie's

A choir of angels should be singing right now.

Also on hand at the new restaurant were the waiters, waitresses and flair bartenders, all intensively being trained for the upcoming opening. We’re thinking a sense of humor was one of the major job requirements for this gig.

Carlos'n Charlie's

We love this place already!

Enjoy more exclusive photos from inside Carlos’n Charlie’s at Flamingo Las Vegas, the newest place to party on the Strip, and we hear that will even include a conga line where participants receive shots of tequila. We are so there on opening night.

Electric Daisy Carnival Vegas: Probably a Big Deal

Here’s today’s thing this blog doesn’t really get, but everyone talks about it so we’re sharing it: The Electric Daisy Carnival, the biggest dance-music festival in the country, is coming to Las Vegas, June 8-10, 2012.

Last year’s Electric Daisy Carnival drew about 230,000 people, and while this blog was not among them, we are definitely excited about any event that draws 230,000 people to Las Vegas. Especially since many of those people will require Las Vegas hotel rooms.

Electric Daisy Carnival

Bonus points if you can spot the observation wheel.

This year’s Electric Daisy Carnival line-up, featuring more than 100 performers, was recently announced. And by “performers,” of course, we mean “DJs who push buttons so that electronic music plays over large amplifiers, often causing irreparable damage to one’s cochlea.” We kid, of course! That which we do not fully understand makes us stronger. Or something.

The headliners include David Guetta, Tiesto, Kaskade and Moby, a name this blog actually recognizes because he did the theme for those Jason Bourne movies. See the full list of performers at Las Vegas Weekly.

Here’s a promotional video for the event. And for the record, we actually don’t hate the music therein.

Side note: The deodorant vendors must make a flipping fortune.

The 16th annual Electric Daisy Carnival will take place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with three-day passes going for $275.

Visit the official site for all the deets. Yeah, we said “deets.” We’re whack like that.

The Rockhouse at Imperial Palace to Close May 5

It’s time for more change in the wake of the massive Linq development project in the center of the Las Vegas Strip. The last day for The Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub at Imperial Palace is May 5, 2012.

Rockhouse sign

We just got a little weepy there for a second.

The popular, boisterous watering hole will be moving to a temporary location at The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood until a more permanent home can be found (probably by late summer).

Rockhouse Las Vegas

They were the best of times and, well, also the best of times.

As the clock counts down for The Rockhouse, stop by and enjoy the hooch, the beer pong and the lovely bartenders swinging from tires.

Rockhouse tire swing

Don't try this at home. This Las Vegas blog is not liable for your rope burn.

Catch up on all the latest Linq news.

Today’s Vegas Event We Know Nothing About

This blog knows virtually nothing about the upcoming event being advertised below, other than that it will take place at Pure Nightclub inside Caesars Palace. Still, we’re all for it.

Pure go go dancer contest

Wait. April 17. That helps, right?

Here’s the official Pure Nightclub Facebook page, which will most assuredly be of more assistance than this blog post.

Today’s Twofer: Megaritas at Rio Las Vegas

Do we look out for you, or what? Here’s today’s irresistible Vegas twofer: Get two “Megaritas” for what should be the price of one inside the Village Seafood Buffet at Rio Las Vegas.

Megaritas at Rio Las Vegas

Bring it, bro. Note: The bartender is not a member of this blog's actual family.

No, that’s not a typo. They’re classic margaritas, just, you know, mega.

The ridiculously reasonable $25 gets you not only 45 ounces of liquid courage, but also the sweet Rio logo specialty glasses. Glasses which, we should add, are large enough to later be utilized as a hot tub.

It's not just the height, it's the girth.

The Village Seafood Buffet is the only all-seafood buffet in Las Vegas, as far as we know, and we tend to know everything.

Find out more about the Village Seafood Buffet and its watering hole serving up these “Megaritas.” Because if Vegas is good at anything, it’s making up new marketing terms. Just ask your favorite “bevertainer” at Rio Vegas.

Today’s Vegas Hook-Up: 50% Off at Blondies

Blondies Sports Bar & Grill, in The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, is a reliably good time, and Living Social is currently offering up a deal for $40 worth of food and drink for $20.

It’s likely O’Sheas casino will soon hand over the mantle of “Beer Pong Mecca” to Blondies, so you might as well give this deal a go to test the waters.

Blondies

No apostrophe. Like Caesars Palace or Madame Tussauds.

The menu at Blondies features sandwiches and burgers, as well as the popular deep-fried mac ‘n’ cheese balls, homemade chili, pizza, Famous Beer Can Chicken, New York Strip and other hearty fare. There are 12,400 (rough estimate) flat-screen TVs to choose from (the largest being 12 feet wide), and the cheerleader-inspired waitress outfits are always worth a return visit. You know, if you’re into that kind of thing.

The 50%-off deal is good for a week (expires April 4, 2012). Go to Living Social for the details.

Miracle Mile Shops

While you're at The Miracle Mile Shops, make sure to check out this giant model of the human gastrointestinal tract. Or something.

Need another reason to visit Blondies? Now through April 30, 2012, you could win an actual diamond when you order a cocktail from a special “Diamond Menu.” When guests order a cocktail, they get to choose a diamond out of a glass that also contains 5,000 decoy stones. If the chosen diamond is the real one, it’s a keeper, and a jewelry store, Designs by Zulema, will set the diamond free of charge.

The Diamond Menu includes the Carrot Cake Martini, Silhouette Martini, Sex in the City cocktail, Bubble Martini and Dulche Leche cocktail. All the drinks are $15.

O’Sheas Does It Up Right for St. Paddy’s Day

There was a lot going on at O’Sheas casino on St. Patrick’s Day.

There was the rain that drove the block party inside. There was the revelry. There was the bittersweet reality this would perhaps be the last O’Sheas block party. There were the shamrock tattoos. And there was the debauchery. Yes, there was lots and lots of unbridled bauching.

O"Sheas St. Patrick's Day 2012

When it comes to throwing a party, O'Sheas knows what it's doing.

As for the bittersweet part, O’Sheas will close on April 30, 2012 as part of the Linq development project. Casino officials did, however, take the opportunity to confirm O’Sheas won’t be going away forever, but rather, will have a spot of its own in the new Linq. Read more.

O'Sheas

Thanks, guy who let us take a photo of his back.

O’Sheas devotees, including this blog, can take some comfort in the fact the new O’Sheas space in the Linq will stay true to the current O’Sheas feel, with a casual, unpretentious vibe, live music and, of course, beer pong.

O'Sheas St. Patrick's Day

See? Unpretentious.

Even torrential rain couldn’t moisten the spirits of St. Paddy’s day celebrants. Oh, just see for yourself. Warning: Repeated viewings of this video may cause pregnancy or other side effects.

The Dublin Up bar at O’Sheas, as well as the casino and beer pong area, were filled to capacity on St. Patrick’s Day, and Vince Neil Ink was doing brisk business as party-goers got shamrock tattoos to commemorate the occasion.

Nothing says, "I vaguely remember St. Patrick's Day at O'Sheas," like fresh ink.

We bumped into O’Sheas spokesperson Lucky the leprechaun, Brian Thomas, who seemed relieved his further employment is assured as part of the Linq. Lucky gets the rock star treatment when he roams the casino at O’Sheas, and always knows how to keep the party lively. (Hint: Free shots.)

O'Sheas Lucky

Everybody wants to get Lucky in Vegas, but only O'Sheas has him.

Still, there’s no getting past the fact O’Sheas, as we know it, will be no more after April 30. We loved hearing from O’Sheas fans, many wearing “Save O’Sheas” T-shirts, about the things they’ll miss, most involving beer. Here are our 10 Things We’ll Miss When O’Sheas Closes.

You can share your O’Sheas memories on the O’Sheas Facebook page.

O'Sheas

Green, check. Fuzzy, check. Hooch, check.

Enjoy more photos, which we, too, are surprised are even remotely in focus, from St. Patrick’s Day at O’Sheas in our exclusive gallery.

Robert De Niro, Nobu Matsuhisa Tour Nobu Hotel

Work on the new Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace is proceeding according to plan, and actor Robert De Niro, a shareholder in Nobu Hospitality, stopped by Caesars this week to check on the project’s progress.

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa (pictured below, center) hosted the visit, and joined De Niro, as well as his fellow shareholder Meir Teper, in reviewing furnishings and choosing design elements for the 180-room hotel-within-a-hotel which will open in the fall.

Robert De Niro and Nobu Matsuhisa

Robert De Niro and Nobu Matsuhisa express concerns to Caesars Palace Regional President Gary Selesner about Nobu Hotel being "too awesome." (We may have just made that up.)

The Nobu Hotel, which will include a restaurant and lounge, will “feature a stylish interior design that showcases natural materials, fused with Nobu’s signature Japanese elegance.” Thank you, news release, for making this blog sound much more knowledgeable than it really is.

These kids today and their graffiti! Unrelated: Bonus points if you can spot a flying cow in this photo.

Thanks to Ethan Miller for the pics. Oh, and the flying cow belongs to Old Homestead Steakhouse. (Note: Bonus points are not redeemable for cash.)

Drink & Drag Lounge is Coming Out April 6

Drink & Drag, a new lounge in downtown Las Vegas boasting “drinks, snacks, bowling, pool, games and drag queens…lots of them,” has announced it will open April 6, 2012.

The new bar and lounge concept comes from the same folks who created Krave, the gay nightclub at The Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood.

Drink & Drag

We love your sass, Las Vegas.

Drink & Drag is located on Fremont Street, and will be “100% staffed by America’s best drag queens,” according to the official site. Note: There’s not a lot of “there there” on the official site yet, but we assume it’ll perk up once the joint opens.

It appears Drink & Drag will offer something for everyone, including a 12-lane bowling center with giant video screens (below), a spacious bar, five pool tables and a “Gamers Room” with video games, darts and air hockey.

Drinks & Drag

Please note all the ball jokes we're not making. It's called maturity, people.

Anything goes in Vegas, baby, so break out those chicken cutlets, switch on “Ru Paul’s Drag Race,” find Drink & Drag on Facebook, and “condragulations” to Drink and & Drag on its impending grand opening.

Oh, and thanks to the Interwebs for making this blog sound even remotely like it knows what it’s talking about, queenwise.
