One to Watch at Bally’s: Sea Thai Restaurant

We know a new Thai restaurant, Sea, is on the way at Bally’s because we saw this giant sign last night. Exclusive photo ahead!

Yes, it qualifies as an exclusive, even if it's just a photo of a sign, thanks.

This Las Vegas blog likes new, and it very much likes Pad Thai, so we can’t wait to experience this new “Thai experience” adjacent to the Bally’s Steakhouse and brand-spanking-new Steakhouse Bar, which we probably also should have taken a photo of, but we were too busy researching our upcoming, exclusive blog expose, “Captain and Diet: A Love Story.”

Bonus Thai food factoid: Pad Thai is also called Phat Thai. Which we think is cool, because “phat” has a whole different meaning in America. Or did, for about 20 minutes in the ’80s.

    Attended Sea Thai soft opening at Bally’s in Vegas 27 & 28 September 2010. The presentations, food and service were impeccable. Having lived and worked all over Asia the last 30 years, I can write unequivocally that this is a restaurant to watch. Stop in when in Las Vegas. You will not be disappointed.

    Sea restaurant in the Bally’s next to the steak house was a delicious Thai restaurant but guess what? The Welcome ceremony was awful and the waiter and waitress were so rude seemingly. The waiter was ready to snatch off my menu even before i could finish looking at it. The usher who lead us to the table was adjusting the table without warning since we had a baby stroller and he started pushing my baby’s stroller around to make room for the other eaters. I was so annoyed and then he left all of a sudden without even apologizing.

    Sorry to hear about that, but thanks for sharing your story. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, and it’s disappointing you didn’t have the same experience. Maybe try again? Everyone has an off day!

    They can’t seem to understand simple requests. No green onions. I want my shop hot. Why is my curry missing the sauce. Rude manager and staff. the chicken wing tasted old and dangerous. Place is a hit and miss. Not worth the aggravation. Do not recommend

    Thanks for your thoughts on this! They might have just been having an off night, but we found the staff to be warm and efficient. Might be worth another try!
