George Wallace Hosts Ceremony at Ethel M

A Southern Nevada tradition takes place tonight (5-8:00 p.m.) at Ethel M Chocolate’s famed Botanical Cactus Garden, adjacent to the Ethel’s chocolate factory in Henderson. More than half-a-million holiday lights, adorning a variety of cactus plants, will be lit.

It’s like those holiday tree lighting ceremonies, but, you know, more Las Vegas-y.

It's very possible those snowmen are made of chocolate. Let us know.

Funnyman (and Flamingo Vegas headliner) George Wallace will be on-hand to host the festive occasion. The evening will include special performances by Strip headliner Zowie Bowie and entertainer Michael Grimm.

Visitors can take a self-guided factory tour and stroll down the Cactus Garden’s “illuminated cacti pathways” through Jan. 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week (except Christmas day). Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
