Las Vegas Halloween Parties, Costumes and More 2011
Halloween revelry can be found in many cities around the world, but only the world’s most exciting city can tear Halloween a new one, whatever that might actually mean.
It’s Halloween in Las Vegas, baby!

Yes, this is the writer of this very blog. And, yes, it kind of creeps us out, too.
Sin City does Halloween up right, and this is further confirmed by the nearly 10,000 visits to one of our most popular posts ever, 20 Vegas-Inspired Halloween Costumes.
And don’t miss our list of Holly Madison-inspired Halloween costumes.

Insert gratuitous photo we took of Holly Madison here.
Halloween parties pop up at nearly every Las Vegas hotel, lounge, nightclub, bar and restaurant in town, and there’s no better place in the world to costume-watch than along the Las Vegas Strip.
Thankfully, Halloween happens on a Monday this year, so that means the celebration will last a full weekend leading up to Oct. 31. There’s no way any one blog, no matter how award-winning, can provide you with a complete list of everything going on in Las Vegas for Halloween, but we can certainly muster up a few of the highlights of Sin City’s freakiest holiday.
One of the most flesh-fabulous parties in Vegas for Halloween is the Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball. It’s over-the-top quasi-nudity and decadence at its Las Vegas best, which this blog doesn’t condone, probably. Get details. And we hear using the discount code “CHAINS7″ gets $10 knocked off each ticket.
The Las Vegas Halloween Parade actually takes place on Halloween (Oct. 31), downtown. It’s touted as a night of “ghouls, goblins and the occasional Las Vegas transvestite.” You get the picture. Find out more.

If you know Vegas, you know where this guy resides. Post your guess in the Comments section.
McFadden’s at Rio Vegas hosts a series of Halloween-inspired events starting Oct. 27, with “Scarefest: College Night” and climaxing Oct. 31, with a “Monster Monday.” See the details.

The "Pumpkin Spice" cocktail at McFadden's might fit Halloween to a tee if you discount the fact this color doesn't actually exist in nature.
Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub at Imperial Palace will celebrate Halloween with four nights of costume contests and drink specials. Guests will enjoy two-for-one Budweiser bottled beers and Ketel One specials, Oct. 27-31.
Jenni “JWoww” Farley from “Jersey Shore” hosts the “Pimp N Ho Costume Ball” at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas on Oct. 28. We don’t make up the news, we just report it.

Vegas is just so...Vegas, sometimes.
Club favorite DJ Paul Oakenfold will play his first gig on the Las Vegas Strip (proper) in more than three years as the featured DJ for Butterfly’s “First Annual Blood Orange Masquerade Ball” at Chateau on Oct. 29. Butterfly is an ongoing series of events described as “multi-sensory nightlife experiences unlike any other.” Not by us, because we don’t know what that means, but it’s been described that way.
PBR Rock Bar & Grill at Planet Hollywood will host a two-day “extravaganza” in celebration of Halloween with a “Haunted Hoe-Down,” Oct. 30-31. We just like the name of that one for some reason.
Rio Las Vegas throws three events, a “Halloween Trifecta,” in is VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub. One of the parties combines a UFC after-party with Pro Bull Riders. A costume contest offers $5,000 in prizes (most creative and sexiest). The theme is “Cowboys & Indians.” Hey, if you want PC, Vegas might not be your best bet for Halloween. You’ll live.

Las Vegas Strip buskers already have a head-start on Halloween.
Fright Dome at Circus Circus is one of the biggest draws in Vegas around Halloween, and has been ranked among the “top five scariest haunted attractions in the nation.” It’s also been ranked first on the “list of things this blog will not be doing on Halloween,” for obvious reasons. See all he gory details.
On a sweeter note, Sugar Factory at Paris Vegas has partnered with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, for the third year, to hold a special trick-or-treat event on Oct. 30 at Paris Vegas. Read more.

Our favorite Sugar Factory offering for Halloween? Candy body parts!
Oktober Fright Fest is an ongoing party on the Fremont Street Experience downtown. Aside from the fright-inspired Viva Vision light shows, there are also a slew of free, Halloween-themed stage shows on three stages. Visit the official site.

We swore we wouldn't, but it appears we have.
Sammy Hagars Cabo Wabo Cantina at Planet Hollywood celebrates Halloween ’80s rocker-style on Oct. 30. Influenced by the Red Rocker himself, Cabo Wabo Cantina encourages party-goers to transform into their favorite musician from the decade of rock for a chance to win cash prizes.
Imperial Palace’s Aussie singing group, Human Nature, is running an online Halloween costume contest on Facebook. Worth a look.

This Chippendales dancer costume looks deceptively easy to pull off. (Hint: The abs take awhile.)
And, yes, you can get the Chippendales’ signature cuffs and collar online. Hey, this blog is nothing if not an equal opportunity flesh peddler. See them in the, wait for it, flesh at Rio Las Vegas. See (ahem) more.
Honestly, we’re winded from all this “research” and “providing useful information.” Let’s move on to the links to other, better sites for such things.
Check out this great Halloween overview from Las Vegas Weekly. More events from the Las Vegas Advisor. Here’s a Halloween guide from our friends at Vegas Chatter. Some of the best places to celebrate Halloween in Las Vegas from CBS Las Vegas. This is a great Halloween run-down from the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Here’s a solid list of Las Vegas Halloween costume stores, too.
Vegas is the place to be for Halloween, so don’t miss this year’s festivities, boys and ghouls. What, we aren’t allowed one annoying Halloween pun?
