Chef Gordon Ramsay to Open Steakhouse at Paris
We’re happy to finally confirm a long-standing rumor about this blog’s favorite celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay. The colorful chef will open his first restaurant in Las Vegas, Gordon Ramsay Steak, at Paris Las Vegas in the spring of 2012.
The new restaurant will open in the space formerly occupied by Les Artistes Steakhouse, which we recently shared had closed.
The ever-energetic Ramsay is known around the world, not only for his culinary skills, but also for his popular TV shows, including “Hell’s Kitchen,” “MasterChef” and “Kitchen Nightmares.”

Go on. Screw up the risotto. We dare you.
Ramsay’s new steakhouse at Paris will seat about 270, and will feature a large bar area, a private dining room and a chef’s table, complete with earplugs. (We just made that last part up, but Chef Ramsay does tend to get, um, “verbally enthusiastic” about food.)
The restaurant design is expected to “celebrate Chef Ramsay and the city of London, where he lives.” San Francisco-based EDG Interior Architecture + Design, which previously did the interior design for Rao’s and Bradley Ogden at Caesars Palace, are set to do the design of Gordon Ramsay Steak.
It’s time for a Chef Gordon Ramsay dance break! Just replace “dance” with “Beef Wellington.”
Menu selections will range from traditional steakhouse fare to Ramsay’s signature fish and chips and Shepherd’s Pie. Exclusive: No actual shepherds are used in the making of Gordon Ramsay’s Shepherd’s Pie. That would be weird.
Gordon Ramsay trivia: The chef has two bulldogs, named Rumpole and Romeo.
We’re excited to see what Chef Ramsay brings to the table at Paris Las Vegas. See what we did there?
